CHINESE NEW YR .... eve

it's been 11 days since i last updated, lots of things have happened and i've been terribly busy with sch... no point askin lah, cos JC life aint simple and carefree at all...

let's go thrh subj by subj:

1) GP - the teacher is kinda cool, manages to kid ard with us most of the time, frankly speakin, she kinda sounds like Jyss (esp when Jyss does some sort of presentation) ... well, i sort of managed to impress her...i scored one of the highest of the 1st essay of the yr, heehee... looks like my English still not bad... am currently tryin my very best to spend at least 15mins a day reading Times Magazine, heard it's gd...apparently, it's quite interesting (am i crazy?)

2) Chinese - the teacher is ultra nice, spend all the lessons doin chen yu... it's quite interestin lah... btw, she gave us CNY goodies! 3 cheers to Mdm Chan!

3) Phy - super boring, doin stuff like calculatin sig. figures and finding mole... teachers are all monotonous, students are pon-ning like siao, some are dozing off like nobody's business... the onli thing i don understd is how to calculate uncertainty (crapp)

4) Chem - i hate this subj oredi... once i finally understd one topic, another diff one is thrown at me... the lecturers are damn sickening, both teaches so fast man...ugh, the pace is hard to catch up
i don understd:
- iodine/ hydrogen-peroxide titration
- electronic structure of atom (it's simple but i don understd the orbitals/ subshell/ s, p, d, f
- double indicator method

i think i need a tutor soon.. wait, make it asap

5) Econs - i hate the teacher cos she's irritating, yet she tries so desperately hard to be nice... i understd everythin lah, jus tat the Qns are quite tricky... need to read more on Global Econs as well, haiz...lots of reading man

6) Maths - i finally bought my GC (graphics calculator) ... it's damn cool, i jus love jammin the equations into the GC and watch it draw the graph, COOL ... i onli need to practise more on Binomial, esp the more chim one (not the sec sch one lah, duh)

although tmr's CNY, don u think the CNY feelin aint really there yet? it feels like another ordinary Sunday ... except.. i wont be attending Church, crapp
it's the 1st time i ever skipped svc man, and i'm pissed... though there's all the red packets and oranges, and gd food, it jus doesnt really interest me anymore... it's been a tough wk, and i was so lookin forward to Sunday, until i realised it's CNY...crapp

Fri
i'm currently under Operation: Get FAT ... it's gonna be damn diff, cos i've got a super-high metabolism rate... plus i'm sick currently didnt attend sch yday as well, cos i went to see the doc... apparently he says it's a common cold, i highly doubt so...
my assumptions are:
1) dengue
2) physically tired
3) too much air-con frm Lectures (it's true, when u keep moving frm a cold place to a hot place, donno how to describe but it's true)
4) mentally tired (maybe i'm stressin myself too much with sch)
5) common cold lor

it's the 2nd time in a row tat i got sick during CNY period, have u guys forgetten? i got Dengue last yr rmb? plus, i'm having the exact same symptoms as last yr, pls pray i don get Dengue...

supposed to go Clare's hse (my bimbo senior frm VJ, donno whether she really bimbo anot) yday to have Junior/Senior BBQ at her place mah...
i miss 06S61 liao, i miss my clique so so much lah ... thx for the smses ya? onli a day w/o them and i feel weird, wat if i really really don get into VJ? i don wanna think abt it man...

THURS
every thurs to my clique is a DAY...last wk, it was nerd day and all of us wore spects...this wk it was TIE day! boo! bcos my sec sch is onli 5yrs old, it's very slow at this kinda stuff... supposed to wear Chung Cheng uniform actually, but yiying borrowed one set tat was so huge lah...sianz...but i managed to borrow Yvonne's tie for a short while... apparently her tie is frm TKSS but she's frm TKGS, weird right? her green tie matches with my sch crest, yay! but it's still very OFF lah... managed to wear a tie for a 1st time in my life, yes, Darren seems kinda dumb now right? too bad i had to leave sch earlier, due to my 37.8`C fever...sickening...

anyway, i'm out...i need my rest

LONG TIME NO SEE !

it's been roughly a wk since i last posted...been kinda busy, aka lazy to blog abt stuff ...
anyway things arent goin the way it shud be...

1) SCHOOL!
it's been rather tiring... i cant stand Econs lectures man, the teacher is super boring and the notes are jus too brief and it's so diff to understd lah, think i'm gonna ask my Econs Tutorial teacher for help tmr... i love my Physics teacher, she's damn nice! her sweet voice and she hasnt even spoken loudly, awww...

JC life is so expensive, with (roughly) 3 breaks each day, my never-satisfied stomach forces me to have at least 3 recesses, think there's smth wrong with my body...metabolism rate way too high liao...which means i spend quite alot lor...

plus there's so much stuff to pay for, needa pay $180 for my Digital Calculator by Thurs, $30 for the notes for all lectures, $5 for Fri's OG BBQ dinner...i'm broke...
VJ is currently selling their VJ T-shirts! i wanna buy but it's $10 for one...and i'm really really lacking in cash...haiz, think i might be so desperate and borrow $$...

Latest News (maybe not): i'm joining Council, oredi received my application form liao, have to write an essay abt myself... apparently i have another 3 pple frm my class who are oso applyin...hopefully i get it, but J2s told me tat the voting process and campaign thingy is abit xiong...plus, Sze Huan oredi gotten his headstart liao, sian...stole all my frens, lesser votes for me...BOO!
pls pray for me, pray tat God will choose the best path for me...if i really get it, pray tat God really uses me and grant Time Management, apparently Council is rather demanding...if i dont, pray tat God will provide a better CCAs...

Pastor Lily and Pastor Julie came to VJ today! it was Diabetes Awareness Day and it was held by TOUCH DIABETIC SERVICES!!! woohoo, FCBC is rather on ya? even spread to VJ...heehee

2) Family
erm, rather classified but in short...it's not gd currently, apparently more jialat as u think...shall not elaborate

Darren really needs prayer right now!
1) Family (super impt) - jus pray in general lah
2) Provision - with less than $20 for this entire wk, i really donno how i am gonna survive

btw, u saw Campus Superstar? saw contestant F4? she's Yvonne Cai Jia Hang, she's in 06S61...my class!!! she's so gd lah, cant believe tat she's tat powerful lor, whoa! plus she definitely look better on stage yday, more chio... whistles*

RAINY DAYS... continous cycle

it's getting rather sickening lor, it's been raining non-stop ( at least onli little bit of sunshine lor)... the weather has jus created one problem after another...parents are gettin so frustrated tat they jus start complaining and arguing over little matters...
funny thing is: mom's business has been crazy man, she's earning close to $2000 a mth lor, and it's not even CNY yet, but it's really really insane, the customers jus keep flowing in ... kinda unusual cos raining days (in the past) usually means no business at all... wat a change

realised tat i've been updating lately ya?...oh wells, think the weather caused me to be damn lazy and tired man, haha

Monday:
VJ had Sea Regatta Games at East Coast, super fun! managed to dunk Inferno's OGLs and my OG into the sea... i was the 1st one to get wet cos it was part of the game, donno the name but it's a race...if u finish it first, u get a chance to grab the pail and fill it with water and splash it at the opposing team (or u can become a back-stabber and sabo ur OG... i did both, i'm evil man)
tat's why i got wet, but in the process of dunking pple and games, i kana injured...
accident-prone Darren has injuries once again
i've collected 6 injuries in 8days! how come so lucky ah? how come bet for 4D oso not tat lucky leh? haha, smth tat my mom quoted once
injuries really affected me cos i couldnt play much games, cos majority were water games ... and if the sea water touches the wound...then it's OUCH !!!!

when i told my OGL tat NYJC and MJC went Sentosa, she said, "they're lousy.they have to travel so far jus to have fun, VJ onli need to walk to East Coast and we have tonnes of fun!" take tat!

ended rather early cos the rain came...walked back to VJ, and everyone got totally drenched...worse thing: i didnt bring towel and change of undergarments, crapp! thank God tat i managed to borrow Dom's towel...for undergarments, jus let nature do its work and let evaporation happen! haha

had Mass dance later on! damn fun! and i was trying desperately hard to rmb the moves, but it's way too complicated man! ugh... i love "I WANT YOU"
another funny thing happened, our OG joined in the OGL cheer! had no idea wat were the lyrics but we jus heck care, funny funny =p

then it was OG linner at Suntec Pizza Hut! had to treat our OGLs (but i forgetten to bring my cash, thank God Sheena paid for me first) it's been ages since i ate at Pizza Hut man, yum yum
initial intention was to go to Sky Garden and do some stuff (think do cheer ba) but it was raining super heavily so we (and other OGs) found some corner and had abit of fun there...
played 'Polar Bear' and 'Truth or Dare' ... the 'Truth' was more personally whereas 'Dare' was damn daring and funny man!

Tues:
went to dye my hair black again, cos the brown is quite visible under strong sunlight... went to cut my hair as well cos the back is rather long and kana caught by the PE teacher (VJ students: keep away frm the PE department!) turned out really awful, hate it when i cut my hair, the end result is always disgusting ... tat's why i prefer keepin it long-er

boring day cos it was really sian, kinda restricted by the rain

Wed:
lessons officially started ! ugh...lectures have finally began ! ugh... air-con rooms! ahhh

anyway, i dislike my Math teacher cos she seems rather strict...u noe wat? why do we have to buy Graphic Calculators tat will jus bomb our wallets? $175 man! are they crazy? oh wells... realised tat VJ lessons are quite scary...onli the 1st day of lessons and i've gotten a handful of notes (8 or 9 ba) tat are 10+ pgs long... think i need another file liao, sianz
still stucked with wat CCA to join, Council? Badminton? (btw, band is out of the pic liao) ...

got to know afew new frens and we oredi clicked...jus liddat lor, and we seem to be a 'gang' liao, so fast man...
yiying told me tat i look like someone frm Chung Cheng High, his name is Darren as well...jus tat i'm a bigger version of him...hmmm? tat sounds abit wrong, do i have a clone? a smaller clone?

FOR THE RECORD !!!!

5 random stuff abt me tat i'm most proud of... some weird, some serious and some crappy ones

here goes:
1) i wore contact lenses for 33hrs before, on New's Yr Eve...slpt over at Lionel's hse, and realised tat i don have my contact lens case + my spects...decided to slp with my contact lenses, thank God tat it didnt go missing or went into the back of my eye

2) i've gotten Edusave Scholarship for 6 consecutive yrs ... this is smth i'm very proud of, cos i've nvr worked tat hard during Primary sch days, so don say i'm "action" ... indeed, hardwork does pay off

3) i've been learning Piano for 8+ yrs and still counting ... it's amazing how time flies lah, i rmbed tat i hated piano at the beginnin cos my mom was the one who forced me to learn mah, but i'm really enjoyin it right now...plus i'm using this talent for DE Band! thank God for the opportunity, heehee

4) i used to be able to tie a very very very tiny pony-tail ... yup, it's the truth...first time tat i left my hair so long as well... but it's seriously small lah, but tat was before sch started...

5) i've listened to 'Running After You' (Planet Shakers) for 350 times, and still counting ...this is how much i love tat song, and i still gotten sian abt it...

i've jus gotten home frm Simei CC, had to collect my Edusave Scholarship...hey Sarah, thx for waking me! thanks for callin 5times before i picked up the fone! heehee, guess i'm quite piggy after all...
lots of trash talkin ... as usual
the emcee was really bad, he was tryin really desperately hard to create a joke and trying to buy time... note: it failed really badly

the rain is getting sickening...it's been raining for almost the entire day, startin frm yday lor... all my shirts are still wet...plus my shoes are still wet (since fri's suntec mass dance) ... i needa wear them tmr lor...sickening!
i even had to run in the rain jus now, tat explains why there is a towel over my head right now... ran frm Simei CC to home, apparently it's abit far...reached home gaspin for air, haha

VJ - Day3 / 4

the reason why i put the updates on both days together was bcos i cant rmb much of day3, haha...

here goes:

day3 -
i cant rmb wat happened on Thurs!!! ugh...but the onli thing i rmbed was the Friendship Dance, well...the dance was great and everythin, jus tat...my dance partner wasnt chio, i guess it's very natural tat when u dance with a girl, u would love to dance with a chio-bu ... oh wells, but i felt that the dance very cute lah, esp "Mashed Potato" and "Chee Chong Fun" (donno how to spell lah)...

we had College Tour during Lunch time, i rmbed my bro told me tat he got lost in Vj before, actually hor, Vj aint tat confusing to walk in lah...onli findin the classrooms will be abit diff, i think... the T block & etc etc. will be tough to identify

played more games! seriously, i cant rmb wat games we played but i bet they must be fun, haha
cheers and mass dances were up! we learnt " VJC UNITE " and "Go Victoria" ... and we learnt the Tribal Dance ( if i rmb correctly) ...

supposed to join Igneous and the rest of Inferno for OG dinner but i had Piano lessons, boo! reached Emmanuel ard 6 plus...and lessons onli started at 830 lor, decided to go there earlier to prac abit of piano, lemme tell u, i haven prac for 2 wks liao...
ta-baoed food and ate with my piano teacher, managed to catch up with her, lots of laughin and crappin...plus i had bbtea! yay! it's been awhile since i last drank it man...
started prac frm 630 to 830...2hrs of hard-core prac lor, super sian...
had lessons frm 830 to 930...apparently bro was oso having lessons as well, so we went home tmr... after so many yrs of learning piano together, it's the 1st time tat we meet ...cos he and i haven diff teachers and diff timings mah

same routine when i got home, bathe and pop myself in bed...1 mins and i'm in dreamland, haha

day4 -
began the day by sortin all of the J1s...including me, into the diff. houses... i'm in Aquila, the Eagle! blue color somemore, in BGSS i was Sapphire, which is oso blue...hmmm, too much of similarities man, haha

oh btw, i'm in 06S61... tat's the code in Vj, for other JC, erm i'm not too sure... and i'm taking PCME (Phy Chem Math Econs), the most popular subj combi in all JCs, i can guarantee tat, haha
i'm in C11... tat's my classroom, if u take a bus and passby Vj, there will a block tat has the name, "VICTORIA JUNIOR COLLEGE"... after tat block, u'll see another block and there will a container unit (sort of)...i'm studyin in tat container unit, weird right? but it's quite cosy and all classrooms are air-conned man! thank God for creating air-cons, haha!
all of my friends in my league (aka Igneous) are in diff classes lor...i onli noe tat Jiezhen is in 06S63 and her class is above mine, in the container unit...haha

i was in my sch uni, the brown and disgusting one... and yes, there goes all the staring faces as i walked into the classroom... i'm sitting beside a cute girl called Jeannie (pronounced Genie, so cool)...and she was tryin desperately hard to try to create a conversation with me (i wonder why...hmmm, haha) ... but i was rather tired and quite ANTI, so i was rather quiet...think i better start chatting with her and the rest of my class by Wed man (mon haven start lessons yet mah)

after tat, it was Changin time and time to separate into our leagues...and games immdiately started!

our team played Treasure Hunt first.. supposed to find our assigned bandannas tat are hidden ard the sch (ours was Red) ... quite diff cos other teams (if they find ur bandanna) could hide them and make it super diff to notice...i think Inferno onli found 14/20 bandannas, sian

then it was lunch time! ate the Western food for the 1st time, our OGLs spent lunch time tellin us which food stalls sell the best food and some rumors regardin certain stalls, funny man! haha...apparently the Western food stall is the best and most popular...the food in Vj are rather cheap, eg: 40c for a large cup of lime juice/ soya bean & 70c for a (at most) 400ml of milo...food is damn cheap as well...BGSS sells their food so ex lah, plus the variety sucks man...
oh ya, did u noe tat Vj is one of the onli sch tat has a Snapple vending machine?...plus it's onli $1.50 here, but $4+ outside...great offer

aft lunch was back to Games, today was water games...was very fun cos Igneous apparently cheered like crazy, lost my voice as well (now abit better) ... was rather affected by the (oh so sickening) rain, and the games had to stop so many times...ugh

blah blah blah...as usual, accident-prone Darren always injure himself, and yes i did..i got a cut ard my wrist, like those pple who attempt suicide by slicing their wrist... damn pain! currently, i have 2 injuries on my right arm...2 injuries in 4 days, how accident-prone am i man?

needa not elaborate on games lah, cos it was jus fun fun fun

next was the most fun part...VJ CHEERS AND MASS DANCES!!!!!
learnt the last 2 remaining Vj cheers, the not-so popular ones, haha...but the mass dances totally rocked man
I...I WANT...I WANT YOU...I...I WANT...I WANT YOU!!!!!
learned the "I want You" dance, the song is by Savage Garden...am listenin to it right now, like the tune & beat haha...and the dance moves are quite cool but the dance sequences are damn diff to rmb man... oredi learned 6 mass dances with (i bet) 50+ diff dance moves and diff dance sequences...onli OGLs (who practise them more than we do) could rmb lor, haha... but it was really really awesome man!

after tat...it was dismissal, but onli frm VJC...cos the entire Vj is goin to SUNTEC CITY!!!! we're doin Mass Dance ard the Fountain of Wealth!!

Igneous ta bao-ed dinner frm the Suntec food court and went to some weird corner to eat... u noe the level which NYDC was? we ate along the walkway beside the glass panels, everyone started starin at us... duhh, cos no one eats there mah... but it was quite funny cos we waved and said 'hi' to any Victorians tat walked pass us...
then it was photo taking session... we posed the letters "V-I-C-T-O-R-I-A" on the glass panels and it was the centre of attraction man, more than centre of laughter cos all the Victorians tat walked pass us, was damn paiseh and felt laughin and pointing...haha

oh, we made Song dedications as well! haha, frm Igneous to the entire Inferno! haha

then 830 struck and it's time to get Victorians ard the Fountain! and bamm, let's dance!!!

entire atmosphere was so so Victorian, the hyperness and highness took over me... cheers flew, "human-trains" were created and shouting was non-stop!
tourists and passers-by were literally staring...a tourist couple was standing quite near me, and as we danced and cheered, they were in amazement ... they were laughin as well, haha

then as the fountain shut the water... the security allowed us to get into the fountain! ... i immediately chiong downstairs and went into the fountain...we even did the Victorian Cheer there lor, we did "Yo VJC" and " VJC UNITE"

Yo VJC: the spelling one
VJC UNITE: the one tat sounds has the same beat as "we will, we will rock u"... but it included stammin of feet and clappin...all the water into my shoes lor...but heck care man!

ended up super wet and cold as i walked thrh Suntec...everythin ended ard 930, and Bro came to fetch me...but he onli came ard 1030...ugh, 1hr of waiting...all alone so more, sian...plus someone (u noe who u are) ahem* nvr pei wo...
slept in the car, cos i was totally shagged (wat's the correct spelling?)...reached home ard 1130 man, bathed and jus pop myself in bed...no air-con...it's amazing tat i could slp w/o air-con lor...i'm a person tat hates slpin in hot conditions

woke up at 11am...roughly 11 hrs of slp lor, woohoo! this entire wk has been so tiring cos i onli had 6 to 7 hrs of slp each day, finally i got back all that slpin hrs! woke up with lotsa muscle aches, i guess slpin isnt tat gd after all...

sian...tmr is 1st lesson for Post Encounter, and i gotta miss it...shoot, tat means i needa make-up for it the next round... no choice, cos i needa collect my Edusave Scholarship tmr at Simei CC which is at 815, oh no...there goes my slp again! plus it's super boring (trust me, i noe cos i got it so quite some time liao) ...
finally the wk is coming to an end, 1st wk at VJ is ending!!! oh man, i'm gonna miss my OGLs and Igneous man! can time jus pause here? i doubt
i'm lookin forward to monday! it's Sea Regatta Games! bet it'll be damn Fun!!!!

PS: i am worried for my O's results currently, i'm scared i cant stay in VJ... God, pls lemme stay in Vj? ... oh wells, the word is 'trust' ... my trust in Him !

VJ: Day 2

amazing 2nd day at VJ today! woohoo! beginnin to fall in love with Vj man, jus hope tat i would continue to be in here, i shall pray and believe tat it's possible!

shall not post a long one ( i hope ) cos i'm very very tired

i wonder which CCA to join, though it's not complusory but i would love to have smth other than bks and studies...

these are my choices:

1) student council --- pple say i'll be damn busy for this, so most likely it's out...but i think it'll be quite fun lor

2) band --- this is my 1st choice! donno how to play any instrument currently, but i think it'll be a piece of cake...c'mon guys! i'm not boasting, jus tat my musical backgrd can judge for itself right? it'll be cool to perform for the sch, haha...

3) badminton --- honesty, i don wanna cont'd this CCA, it's getting boring and i wanna learn smth new, this would be last choice if i stucked with nothin, which is quite unlikely cos the Principal assured us tat 99% of the students would receive their 1st choice CCA!

cheers are getting even better...Inferno learned a new cheer, it goes smth like "Fight...Kill...Fight...Kill"... our league loved it, wait ... they loved it for the wrong reason, lemme explain
try saying "fight" and "kill" very quickly...
fight, kill, fight, kill...
doesnt it sound abit too familiar? if u don get it, lemme noe...haha

the J1s are also gettin into the spirit liao, the cheers are quite funny...
cos our emcees will award pts in the league tat wins/ cheers the loudest...
then when they award wrongly or too biased...the entire sch hall would cheer " biased. clap clap* ...biased.clap clap*..." or "not fair, clap clap*...not fair,clap clap*"
and the emcees will reply, "too bad, clap clap*...too bad, clap clap*"...
haha, one kind of funny lah...haha

learned Victoria's secret ... aka the Victorian anthem, heard it before liao cos my bro is ex. VS and VJC...he's a pure Victorian lah, haha
then learned VJ's most famous cheer, the one tat goes," gimme a V-I-C-T-O-R-I-A" ...everybody immediately responded lor, even those not very enthu...haha, totally lifted the Vj spirit once again...
then we learned 2 out of the 6 mass dances, quite cool... think we're dancing tmr for the J2s to see...ugh!

not lookin forward to tmr...our OGL jus told us tat we would be doin a Friendship dance, but it's a boy-girl pairup...tat's bad, imagine asking a girl, "do u mind dancing with me?"...sounds jus like prom, haha... and we have to hold hands!!!!! oh man, i noe we're matured adults and there's nothin to be scared off but... don u think it's kinda fast? it's onli the 3rd day of sch! plus, our OGLs still had the cheek to ask, "seen any eyecandy? tmr ask them to dance with u lah"...someone pls box me! bangs head*

it'll be fun tmr...i'm quite sure of it...tat's if i minus the friendship dance, ugh!

VJ: Day 1

woohoo! cant believe tat i have jus spent my 1st day at VJ...my initial feelin in the morning was rather excited, woke up super early...packed my bed super quickly...ate super quickly ( so unlike me)... i was just shocked tat today would be my 1st day as a Victorian, i knew tat once i stepped in...my entire concept of studyin life would change

..and it did ...

steppin into VJ with my brown, super digesting uniform felt kinda 'off'... everyone started staring and the usual, "wat sch is tat?" ... i was standing in the centre of the concourse area, queuin to be registered... everyone, in white, blue or green, were staring...staring and more staring... come to think of, tat aint the best place u wanna be with 100+ pairs of eyes staring at u...
however it made me realise smth...rmb wat the bible always said tat pple will talk behind ur back, stare and look at u differently jus bcos u were a christian? ... rmb tat?
well i felt liddat at tat moment, jus tat it had nothin to do with my christianity... pple were talkin behind my back and starin at me, jus bcos i looked diff...jus bcos my uni was brown

this yr's theme was
VJC: Superhero
the superhero within u...it's in You!

i think the theme is quite cute lah
i am in the Inferno league (it's called league, not house) ... felt rather left out, cos i didnt noe anyone... all the high-ness tat was with me since i got up, was drained away immediately...became super quiet and started stoning...

like all Orientations...talks by the staff & principal are inevitable...but Mrs Chan (Vj's principal) set us off rather weirdly...saying, "Vj is a very fast-paced.... move at high speeds...we expect u to keep up, i believe u all can do it... bcos u've made it into VJ! anyway, this is my choice:
S4E ---> 1. H2 Math, 2. H2 Phy, 3. H2 Chem & 4. H1 Econ (psst: i got in liao! )

realised tat it's still possible to pursue my dream of studyin Medicine, apparently even NUS Medicine doesnt require Bio...and the U in Melbourne even specified tat they want Phy, not Bio...plus, even if i change my mind later, i can still switch to studyin Engineering...
thx Gen for helpin me with this, helped me make decisions better, thx jie!

then it was game time! rather fun...did the Evolution: Chicken Little game...quite funny, cos the losers (aka those who couldnt advance to the Chick stage and was still stuck with the Egg stage) had to go on stage and dance to the Chicken Little song, the one tat goes, "numa numa..." their actions oso imitated the dance tat Chicken Little itself did...super funny!

one thing abt Vj tat i really really love lots lots lots...it's their spirit...
the VJ spirit is super powerful, the cheers jus lift the spirits alot man, the mass dances are jus chio and shuai at the same time...basically Vj is more than jus another mugger sch...haha, it's way better than tat!

cant rmb some stuff, so i'm not gonna blog abt them (duhh)

oh ya, i kana tricked by my fren...he gang up with my clique to trick me tat he is actually at MJ (meridian)... he even called and talked in a very calm tone, really trusted him but he lied...ugh! so paiseh lor, he can still laugh...sickening...
but hor, it's gd...at least 2 students frm BGSS made it here...Praise the Lord!

3... 2... 1... HAPPY NEW YR 2006

pple! first thing first: read the title again...
HAPPY NEW YEAR man! cant believe another yr has jus gone by... time really flies man, so much stuff happened in 2005, sad and happy ones...but now, they're either stucked in photos or in my head...haha!

let's update!

Thur 29th Dec:
went to watch Narnia with cell mates, few of us lah... think it was rather ok jus tat it was kinda boring and lengthy (is there such a word?) ... but i thud the story was rather meaningful
rmbed a fren of mine (cant rmb who liao, haha) told me tat this bk was written in relation to Jesus Christ (or smth liddat) ...
no? okok...lemme enlighten u, haha

1) rmb the scene whereby the lion mane got 'shaved'...erm, cut off?...to me hor, it signifies the moment when Jesus was stripped frm His clothes before being tortured, and eventually crucified... as we know, the lion's mane signifies power and definitely...a certain amt of dignity to the lion himself...
similarly, to us humans...clothes are so impt, need i explain more? try walking down Orchard Rd onli with ur underwear, humiliating right? personal dignity oso gone liao...haha

2) when the lion got resurrected, the stone 'table' cracked ...rmb? i rmbed the lion saying smth very meaningful, cant quite rmb but i noe it talked abt an innocent party (or smth liddat)...to me, it brought me back to a verse in the bible... "the one who knew no sin, became sin"... meaning tat Jesus was totally pure and innocent! ... and Jesus got resurrected as well ! ... onli diff here: the reasons for the resurrection is diff (i think)
coming back... the cracked table (to me) symbolises the removal of SIN ... the breaking of SIN frm our lives... later on in the movie, the lion was the one who killed the White Wizard, so he must be some sort of HERO! ...similarly, when Jesus was resurrected, He became our Saviour...to deliver us frm SIN and the Satan...

Sat 31st Dec:
is it me or it's currently raining at the wrong timing? come on, it's New Yr's Eve and it's raining? ugh, murder me! (jus kidding) ...
had cell grp at Lionel's hse today! first time i ever went to his hse man...
supposed to leave hse ard 3 plus, but thanks to the non-stop rain, i left so so late... plus, halfway to the bus-stop, i forgotten abt Candice's belt .. was actually thinking, "give her on Sunday oso can mah"...but i couldnt disappoint my xiao-mei ... so i had to chiong back home (with all the rain) and get it...

thank God, bus and MRT was efficient and quick! managed to reach AngMoKio Mrt 430pm on the dot! however, we had to wait for the late-comers...sickening! reached Lionel's hse ard 5... sianz
then it was cell-grp! shall not elaborate here cos there were too many emotions and thoughts at that moment, rather impossible to list everythin down here...

jus we (the guys) started to set fire and stuff...the girls came, yeehaa! finally don needa wait for our dilly-dally princesses..haha, jus kidding
played the toilet-bowl game and the name-switchin game...i became "Candy" (fake) for a few mins, rather torturing cos everybody wanted to sabo the real Candy, so when they call Candy...it's actually me, so i did the favour and onli rmbed "Sarah" (real Candy's name for a few mins)
had fun lah, cos we got a chance to mingle with SP Primers, they're a cool bunch of pple man!

BBQ time! actuallly i didnt help out much man, feelin so guilty right now... i onli ate ate ate, btw, the beef was (wa lao) super hard lah, like chewing gum...
played Dai-Di (shud be wrong spelling lah)..and learned abit of BRIDGE, but Butt was so lazy to teach me...
btw, gen was acting really weird and kept goin, "Bryan is so cute! i wanna go talk to him" ... (FYI: he's onli 13, while Gen is 17... he is a new guy somemore, gen! why must u scare him? tsk tsk)

then it was ... COUNTDOWN !
10.... 9 ... 8 ... blah blah... 2...1...HAPPY NEW YR!!! woohoo! it's the first time i ever spent Countdown without my family, but spent it with the most amazing pple of my life, my spiritual "family"!

was too lazy to go home cos it was roughly 1am...no buses, no MRT and the nearest pple who lives near me (aka Sarah & Candice) had oredi left ... so no car-trips as well...
in the end, decided to spend the night at Lionel's hse... had a supper-fast ( breakfast + supper = ?? i still donno wat word to create) and ate Curry Rice...1st time i ate rice so early in the morning, roughly 2 or 3am ...haha! we ended up slping ard 5...oh gosh

Sun 1st Jan 2006!!!!
woke up ard 11...and cabbed home, together with Daven who stays super close to me... passed by SAJC, thank God Sarah wasnt in the taxi or else she'll get my attention and start pointing and staring at SA... pray tat u enter tat sch ok? i'm sure u can get it ! trust Laupa!

reached home ard 12...super tired yet i knew tat if i slept, i wont be able to wake up in time to go for New Yr Party...
reached EXPO hall 10 ard 3plus to help Danny, it was rather last min. but i thank God for making tat time slot so free...or else Danny would be short-handed...
by right, we're supposed to move the paintings (wat u actually call them?) however tat idea was rather bad...so we swopped to carryin the flags...quite a privilege to slowly march thrh the entire hall and "march" towards the stage with the flag held high, made me felt abit stressed cos it's a country flag lor...must treat with respect!

NEW YR PARTY BEGINS!!!

first thing: 6 of my frens all last minute don wanna go for New Yr Bash/ Party..
pity pity...cos it was FANTASTIC...it was EXTRAORDINARY!!!!!
in short, i almost lost my voice due to the constant screaming...all the songs so fast-paced somemore, non-stop jumping man! non-stop sweating ! non-stop WORSHIP!!!!! love it man! if onli everyday got this kind of super-high worship session...can totally soak myself in God's presence lor, totally amazing! even my hunger kana removed by my excitement and high-ness...haha!
btw: did anyone see me? i was the guy holding the Japanese flag...heehee, bet u pple didnt notice, except Lionel (duh, he was holding it with me mah)

abit short but it's bcos of the tonnes and tonnes of emotions and feelings.... and thoughts! one word: INDESCRIBABLE !!!!

all tat jumpin, straining of voices and constant shivering at EXPO has made me really really tired man! but it was great, an experience of a lifetime...i'm sure nxt yr's will be GREAT!!!

btw, xiao mei! the crown belt looks so perfect on u! becoming more chio oredi eh? (as if...jus kidding) ... sarah! the earrings look gorgeous man! didnt expect it to turn out so nice on u! hope it didnt cause u more pain onto ur ears...sry! but thank u too, cos u wore it despite the pain!...haha

PS: sch in 2days...i'm so not lookin forward, still needa get used to the "proper"slpin hrs...ugh, VJC will be fun, i'm sure of it, maybe it's jus me and my holiday-gear... sch will nvr be the same w/o my frens frm BGSS... missing u guys man, haiz
